  1. Health Insurance

    Medical insurance is available through Assurant Health for individuals who qualify for coverage.


    The Right Start PPO is ideal for individuals seeking comprehensive coverage that does not allow for a large amount of coverage annually. The Core Med Plan is our most popular plan. College graduates who are no longer under their parents insurance will find this plan easiest to attain. Couples and families may also find this to be their best option. The Max Care Plan is available for individuals seeking high quality and variety of coverage. Medical insurance is available through Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Michigan for individuals who do not qualify for coverage through Assurant Health.

  2. Dental Care Benefits

    Dental care benefits are available through the American Employer Group Multiple Employer Trust.

    • $750 per person maximum
    • 80/20 on preventatives
    • 80/20 on basic coverage
    • 50/50 on major services
  3. Vision Care Benefits

    Vision care benefits are available through Spectera, a UnitedHealth Group Company.

    The plan offers 100% coverage through its network of providers. Some of SPECTERA’s top providers would be: Rx Optical, DOC, Costco, Walmart, Shopko, and Co-Op Optical. Single, Double, and Family rates are available.

  4. Life Insurance

    Life insurance is available through Sun Life Financial.

    Coverage is available for guaranteed issue up to $25,000. There is also coverage available for a spouse up to 50% of the primary’s amount. Up to $5,000 in coverage is also, available for every child or dependent.

  5. Short-Term Disability Benefits

    Short Term Disability benefits may be available through the American Employer Group Multiple Employer Trust. Please call the Benefits Department for coverage details and eligibility guidelines.

  6. 401(k) Benefits

    401(k) benefits are available through American Funds.

    This benefit allows you to save for retirement on a pre-taxed basis. American Funds is one of the largest and oldest money managers in the country.
